Crown Prince Haakon opens new sorting facilities.


On 15 August, Crown Prince Haakon officially opened the new sorting facility at Skedsmokorset. Raumarike Avfallsforedling (ROAF), the world's first fully automatic sorting of plastic waste.
The facility covers approximately 170,000 residents in the municipalities of Bold, Gjerdrum, Enebakk, Sørum, Noida, Skedsmo, Lørenskog and Rælingen, and since its inception the system sorted out 350 tons of plastic recycled.

After the official opening ceremony, Crown Prince Haakon was given a tour of the facility by CEO Øivind Brevik.
